Special guest Cathy Alves Davis joins Lisa Berry and me for a co-hosted edition of Decide to Transform where we talk about miracles, trust, and the profound gift of faith.
In 1998, Cathy faced a life-threatening Stage III Aggressive Breast Cancer. At the time of her diagnosis she was given little chance of surviving, but Cathy had an unwavering faith in God. She volunteered to be part of a rigorous and cutting-edge research protocol at Lombardi Cancer Research Center at Georgetown University Hospital.
During this time, God spoke to Cathy and reassured her that she would be fine. Trusting this, she moved forward with the treatments and with life.
She recovered, and the research results were nothing less than miraculous! The findings proved to be a great advancement in the fight against aggressive breast cancer. The specialized protocol is now standard treatment, saving tens of thousands of women's lives to date.
On June 1, Cathy's book Myrcles will be available (pre-order is available now--see below.) The book is a heartfelt story and living example of faith. With it, Cathy aims to help people see what faith can do.
